First Order Perturbations of Dirichlet Operators: Existence and Uniqueness
We study perturbations of type B r of Dirichlet operators (L 0 ; D(L 0)) associated with Dirichlet forms of type E 0 (u; v) = 1=2
متن کاملExistence and uniqueness of solutions for p-laplacian fractional order boundary value problems
In this paper, we study sufficient conditions for existence and uniqueness of solutions of three point boundary vale problem for p-Laplacian fractional order differential equations. We use Schauder's fixed point theorem for existence of solutions and concavity of the operator for uniqueness of solution. We include some examples to show the applicability of our results.
متن کاملExistence and uniqueness results for a nonlinear differential equations of arbitrary order
This paper studies a fractional boundary value problem of nonlinear differential equations of arbitrary orders. New existence and uniqueness results are established using Banach contraction principle. Other existence results are obtained using Schaefer and Krasnoselskii fixed point theorems. In order to clarify our results, some illustrative examples are also presented.
متن کاملMath 209: Proof of Existence / Uniqueness Theorem for First Order Differential Equations
We highlight the proof of Theorem 2.8.1, the existence / uniqueness theorem for first order differential equations. In particular, we review the needed concepts of analysis, and comment on what advanced material from Math 301 / 305 (real analysis) is needed. We include appendices on the Mean Value Theorem, the Intermediate Value Theorem, and Mathematical Induction. The only result we need which...
متن کاملUniqueness Implies Existence and Uniqueness Criterion for Nonlocal Boundary Value Problems for Third Order Differential Equations
For the third order differential equation, y′′′ = f(x, y, y′, y′′), we consider uniqueness implies existence results for solutions satisfying the nonlocal 4-point boundary conditions, y(x1) = y1, y(x2) = y2, y(x3)− y(x4) = y3. Uniqueness of solutions of such boundary value problems is intimately related to solutions of the third order equation satisfying certain nonlocal 3-point boundary condit...
